Join UDF

Membership is open to anyone who is interested in urban design and cares about the quality of the built environment and life in our towns and cities and wants to help raise the standards of urban design across the country. The UDF encourages membership from anyone interested in urban design and including planners, architects, landscape architects, engineers, surveyors, politicians, academics, developers and other individuals.

Subscription is $95.00 to 31 March 2024. $20.00 NFP. Student Membership free.

Members belonging to a Not For Profit qualify for a reduced subscription of $20.00 (choose NFP sector).

Student membership is free. To qualify you must provide your uni email address (.ac.nz).

You will receive an automated email advising your UDF Membership ID number and how to pay your subscription upon clicking the Submit button.

If you have previously been a member of UDF you may be residual in our DB, please email us to reactivate your membership if you receive an automated message.

The National Committee’s strategy is to advocate and lobby in order to raise awareness of the benefits of good urban design at both national and local levels.

UDF’s main focus is to raise awareness and discussion of urban design issues across New Zealand.
