The UK based Urban Design Group is putting together an Australia and New Zealand focused Journal in 2023 and is calling for articles. This is a great opportunity to share the good work we are doing downunder to a northern hemisphere audience.
The edition will be guest-edited by Mark Sheppard (Principal Urban Design & Director at kinetica | President of VPELA). The articles should be about Australian or NZ-based research, projects or other initiatives that are advancing best practice in urban design, and which would be of interest to the journal’s international (mainly UK-based) readership. The articles will need to be 1500-2000 words with good illustrations.
If you would like to publish an article in the journal, please send an abstract along with a sample of your writing to marks@kinetica.net.au by 15 September 2022. If your proposal is successful, you will be notified by 1 October and draft articles will be due by 15 December 2022, with final articles due by 28 February 2023.
