In partnership with Christchurch City Council, the Canterbury-Westland Branch of NZPI
has supported Stuart’s visit to Christchurch.
Stuart is in New Zealand as a keynote speaker at NZPI’s Annual Conference.
Stuart’s presentation will cover his experience of planning for urban growth in the context of an urban development authority, and the implementation challenges of this including (but not limited to); economic instruments, system reforms, and governance and institutional arrangements.
This is a great opportunity to hear from one of our neighbours across the ditch as how they seek to enhance and enrich urban environments by taking advantage of the opportunity to rethink, redesign or better their environment. Something for Christchurch to consider as we progress on our regeneration journey.
Location: The Piano (156 Armagh St, Central City)
Cost: $50 NZPI members
$60 Non-NZPI members
