Join Urban Design Forum for a walk and talking tour of HLC followed by a presentation of research findings undertaken on Hobsonville Point by researchers from the University of Auckland.
Hobsonville Point, like many large scale re-development projects world-wide, uses a range of urban planning tools such as urban design guideline documents and an independent expert urban design review panel to enhance the quality of the built environment outcomes achieved.
This presentation and walking tour will explore the urban design of Hobsonville Point and consider the role and influence that these tools have had on the urban design outcomes achieved for the development.
